In line with the Foreign Ministry’s commitment to providing distinguished consular services, supporting the digital transformation objectives of Oman Vision 2040 and facilitating procedures through the digitalisation of services, the Ministry is pleased to announce the launch of the fourteenth phase of the Electronic Attestation Service in the Kingdom of Morocco, the State of Libya, the United Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Uganda, effective from June 5, 2026.
From June 19, the service will also be launched in Zanzibar, the Republic of Senegal, the Republic of South Africa and the Republic of Kenya.
From July 6, the service will be launched in the Republic of Mozambique, the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
From July 20, the service will be launched in the Republic of Mauritius, the Republic of Madagascar, the Republic of South Africa, and Seychelles and the Commonwealth of Australia.
From August 17, the service will be launched in New Zealand, the Swiss Confederation, the Republic of Armenia, and Monaco, effective from August 3, 2026; and in the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Uzbekistan and Brunei Darussalam.
This service enables users to obtain attestation services without the need to visit the Sultanate of Oman’s missions in the aforementioned countries.
The Electronic Attestation Service was launched on January 23, 2025 and currently covers more than 40 countries listed here:
