15 Foreign Ministers say the move is a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

The calls aimed to support efforts to contain the ongoing war in the region and return to diplomacy.

The calls affirmed the importance of concerted international efforts to halt the exchange of fire and to return to dialogue.

Sifi Ghrieb, Prime Minister of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria received  Saif bin Nasser Albadai, Oman’s Ambassador in Algiers.

Saif Albadaai, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to Algeria was received by Minister of Water Resources Taha Derbal. The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Oman and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria in the field of water resources and irrigation.

Mohamed Arkab, Minister of State for Energy and Mines, received Saif Albadaai, Oman’s Ambassador to Algeria. The meeting was attended by a group of ministry officials and Counsellor Ishaq bin Yahya Al Amri. The meeting discussed prospects for upcoming projects in hydrocarbons and mining between the two countries.

Yacine Walid, Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, received Saif Albadaai, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria. The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Oman and Algeria across various fields.  

Algeria’s Minister of Industry Yahia Bouchir received Saif Nasser Rashid Albadaai, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, accompanied by Dr Ibrahim Ali Al Baloushi, of the Karwa Motors company. The meeting focused on prospects for industrial cooperation between Algeria and Oman, and on ways to strengthen joint investments in the manufacture of buses

Mohamed Arkab, Minister of State and Minister of Energy and Mines, received Saif Albadaai, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Algeria, along with a delegation from Abraj Energy Services headed by Ayad Al Balushi, Chairman of the Board. The meeting discussed prospects for future cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the field of hydrocarbon resources.  

Algerian Minister of Transport, Saïd Sayoud, received Saif Nasser Albadaai, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria. The meeting, which was attended by officials from the Ministry, discussed ways to enhance cooperation and explore investment opportunities in the field of transport.

The Sultanate held meetings alongside the Algiers International Fair where Oman was the guest of honour.

Algerian Minister of Energy, Mining and Renewable Energies, Mohamed Arkab, received Omani business leader Sheikh Mohammed Albarwani, Chairman of MB LLC (Mohammed al Barwani LLC). The meeting was attended by Saif Nasser Rashid Al Badaai, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, and the Secretary of State to the Minister of Energy in charge

His Majesty also visited the National Mujahid Museum.
