The electronic document attestation service will soon be available in eleven more countries.

The Ministry is pleased to announce the widespread availability of its electronic attestation service.

Dr Saleh Amer Alkharusi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Kuwait,met Ambassador Aziz Rahim Al Dihani, Kuwaiti Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs. The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and addressed various consular matters.

The Ministry, in coordination with its embassies continues to monitor the situation of citizens abroad around the clock.

The opening was attended by Oman’s Ambassador to Italy and the Honorary Consul of Oman in Tuscany and Emilia Romagna.

The Foreign Ministry is continuing to make arrangements for the safe return of Omani citizens from abroad.

A group of citizens has safely returned to the homeland from the Islamic Republic of Iran through coordinated land and air transfers.

The opening of the Embassy reflects the growing friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The service allows the attestation of documents without visiting Omani diplomatic missions.

The meetings aim to expand partnerships between the private sector in Oman and the U.S., and to explore investment opportunities.

The meeting discussed consular co-operation between the two countries and ways to strengthen it.

This measure raises the number of exempt countries and reinforces Oman’s position as an open and attractive international destination.

The meeting reviewed cooperation in civil aviation, logistics, vocational training, mining and energy.

Oman’s missions in Bahrain, Mumbai, China, Sri Lanka and New York also held receptions.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of Sheikh Khalid Almuslahi, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary.
