Ahmed Alrashidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, participated in a meeting of the Arab Ambassadors Council in Colombo with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received the credentials of 12 Ambassadors to Oman.

Sayyid Badr received a copy of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador to Oman.

His Majesty expressed his heartfelt sentiments to President Anura, the families of the victims and the people of Sri Lanka.

Ambassador Ahmed Alrashidi, Head of Oman’s Mission to Sri Lanka, met with Rear Admiral H. D. Kumar, Vice Chancellor of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU). The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries.

Ambassador Ahmed Alrashidi, Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, met today with Sri Lankan Minister of Energy, Kumara Jayakody. They discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the fields of oil, renewable energy and green hydrogen.

Ahmed Ali Said Alrashidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, received the Chairman and Board Members of COYLE, the Chamber of Lankan Entrepreneurs. The Chamber includes 125 members from various sectors. During the meeting, they discussed various investment opportunities and avenues for cooperation.

The discussions focused on strengthening economic relations and cooperation in the blue economy.

The Ministry launches the second phase of the electronic attestation service in collaboration with Oman Post.

Oman’s embassy in Sri Lanka hosted the signing of a commercial contract between Mubadala Commercial Services Company, owner of the Omani brand Tea & You, and the Sri Lankan tea producer Bogawantalawa. The signing ceremony was attended by Ambassador Ahmed Ali Said Alrashidi and members of the embassy. The Embassy wishes every success for the partnership.  

The Ambassador presented his credentials to the President of the Maldives.

Ahmed bin Ali bin Saeid Alrashidi, Oman’s Ambassador to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, presented a copy of his credentials as the non-resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of the Maldives. The credentials were received Mohamed Shahudy, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Chief of Protocol.

The Royal decree appoints non-resident Ambassadors to six countries.

Sheikh Khalifa met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Panama and the Secretary of the Sri Lankan Foreign Ministry.
