The Diplomatic Academy of the Foreign Ministry hosted a lecture entitled “Oman Sri Lanka Relations”, delivered by Aruni Ranaraja, Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. The lecture was attended by a number of Foreign Ministry of Foreign officials, members of the Academy and those with an interest in diplomacy and international relations.

The lecture reviewed the course of relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Sri Lanka and the steady progress they have achieved over the past decades. It highlighted key milestones in political, economic and cultural cooperation, as well as opportunities to strengthen the partnership between the two countries.
