In view of current developments in the region, and in coordination with the relevant authorities in the Sultanate of Oman, the Foreign Ministry is continuing to make the necessary arrangements to facilitate the return of Omani citizens from abroad.

As part of these arrangements, a group of citizens from the Islamic Republic of Iran has returned safely to Oman via land and air transport, as part of an approved and organised plan, in coordination with Oman’s embassies in Tehran and Ankara.

The Foreign Ministry continues to monitor the situation of citizens abroad around the clock, in coordination with its embassies, to ensure their safety and security.
