Dr Ahmed Alsaidi, Head of the Mission of the Sultanate of Oman to the Lebanese Republic, hosted a briefing at the Embassy in Beirut bringing together Imran Riza, UN Deputy Special Coordinator, Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator, Arab ambassadors and representatives.

The briefing provided an update on the current situation in Lebanon and the country’s humanitarian, early recovery and development priorities.

The briefing also reviewed the support provided by the United Nations to the Lebanese Government and opportunities to strengthen cooperation between Arab countries and the UN in support of Lebanon.
