The Sultanate of Oman condemns the targeting of a pipeline in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reaffirming its firm position rejecting such attacks and the targeting of vital civilian infrastructure, regardless of the motives or reasons behind them.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Oman renews its solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures that would protect its territory and vital infrastructure and safeguard its security and stability.

Oman also affirms the need to respect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states and to avoid anything that could threaten the security and stability of the region. It calls on all parties to exercise wisdom and restraint in dealing with these developments, and to give precedence to dialogue and address their underlying causes through political and diplomatic means and solutions.
