Oman calls for containing of escalation between India and Pakistan

The Foreign Ministry is following with deep concern the current military escalation between the Republic of India and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The Sultanate calls on the two neighbouring countries to contain this dangerous escalation, to open the way for diplomatic efforts to reach an understanding between them, and to prioritise political solutions, in order to preserve security and stability and achieve peace, peaceful coexistence, and harmony.
