The meetings focused on bilateral trade and investment opportunities.

Issa Saleh Abdullah Alshibani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to India, received Piyush Goyal, India’s Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, at the Omani pavilion during PHARMA MachTech and LABNEXT Expo 2026, held in New Delhi from  September 7 to 9. Oman is participating as a partner country at the Exhibition, helping to broaden cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry

The meeting discussed the role of honorary consuls in strengthening friendship and cooperation with Oman.

The Consulate General of the Sultanate of Oman in Mumbai participated in an event organised by the World Trade Center. The event, which  hosted a delegation from the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), explored  investment and trade opportunities between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India.

Abdullah Al Rahbi, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, met Ambassador Suresh K Reddy, India’s Ambassador to Egypt. The Ambassadors explored ways to strengthen bilateral relations, n support of shared interests. particularly in the fields of economic cooperation and mutual investment, as well as promoting tourism.

The two Ministers reaffirmed their commitment to continuing coordination to restore the smooth flow of maritime navigation.

The Ministers exchanged views on current regional and international developments.
