First Secretary Salem bin Sulaiman Al Wahibi, Cultural Officer at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Jordan, took part in the opening of the Embassies Pavilion at the 40th Jerash Festival. The opening ceremony was held under the patronage of Jordan’s Minister of Culture, Mustafa Al Rawashdeh. Oman was represented at the festival by the Sohar Cultural Council.

The two leaders discussed the regional and international efforts being made to promote calm and de-escalation.

The Ministers underlined the need to intensify political efforts to halt escalation and give priority to dialogue.
