His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and King Abdullah of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, held a telephone conversation during which they discussed the evolving situation in the region.

The two leaders touched on the regional and international efforts being made to promote calm and de-escalation, in order to bolster regional security and stability and ensure the safety of maritime navigation.
