The Company will be equally owned by both parties and will invest in a range of vital and promising sectors that support the economic priorities of both countries, including the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
These sectors include telecommunications and information technology, agriculture and food, medical equipment and pharmaceuticals, energy, mining, tourism and logistics. The initiative will contribute to economic diversification, stimulate local markets and create added value that supports the growth and integration of businesses in both countries.
The strategic partnership reflects the Oman Investment Authority’s approach to strengthening the geographical and sectoral diversification of its investment portfolio. This strategy serves as a tool to safeguard assets, distribute risk and establish investment platforms that ensure sustainable economic returns and capital flows.

It translates the directives of their leaderships into projects that strengthen economic cooperation, building on a long history of collaboration, exchange of expertise and investment in promising projects with lasting economic and developmental impact that serve the shared interests of both nations.
He added that the partnership also strengthens the Authority’s role in advancing economic diplomacy by deepening cooperation with partners in sisterly countries, directing investments towards priority sectors and further diversifying the geographical and sectoral composition of the Authority’s portfolio.
Dr Ezzedin Kanakrieh, Chairman of the Jordan Social Security Investment Fund, said that the agreement represents a strategic step in the cooperation between the Fund and the Oman Investment Authority.
