Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a telephone call with Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to discuss the latest regional developments and their implications for the region’s security and stability.

The Ministers underlined the need to intensify political efforts to halt escalation, give priority to dialogue and peaceful solutions and prevent the region from sliding into further confrontation.

They also reaffirmed the importance of respecting international law, safeguarding the security and freedom of navigation and protecting the interests of all peoples as well as the sovereignty and stability of states.
