25 Omani tourism institutions participated in the campaign meeting with 150 outbound travel companies from India.

Mahboob Alraisi, Consul General of the Sultanate of Oman in Mumbai, was guest of honour at  Oman Air’s celebration marking 30 years since the launch of the Muscat–Mumbai route. Oman Air was represented at the event by Ahmed Almahrouqi, Vice President of Sales.    

The Consul General of the Sultanate of Oman in Mumbai, Mahboob Alraisi, accompanied by First Secretary Khalid Almughizwi, met with the Vice President of Crescendo Worldwide, a Business Consulting and Services, Banking, and Joint Ventures company. During the meeting, they discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the business sector.

Mahboob Alraisi, Consul General of the Sultanate of Oman in Mumbai, held a meeting with Dr Vijay Kalantri, Chairman of World Trade Centre Mumbai, and his team. The meeting explored strengthening cooperation in investment, business and government relations, logistics, and tourism.  

Oman also conveys its sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Government and people of India.

A Foreign Ministry statement also expresses Oman’s sincere wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.

The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) participated in the Franchise India 2025 Expo in New Delhi. Several agreements were signed at the event which featured eleven Omani trademarks participating alongside the OCCI. These agreements included the opening of 40 branches of Oman’s ‘Seven Fries’ brand in India. Oman’s delegation was headed by Engineer Hamoud Alsaadi, second Deputy Chairman

Oman commends the role of the US President in securing the agreement.

The Sultanate calls on both countries to make space for diplomatic efforts and to prioritise political solutions.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued Royal Decree No. 36/2025 ratifying the protocol on amending the agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of evasion in relation to income taxes.
