Minister receives copy of credentials of Indian Ambassador

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received a copy of the credentials of Prashant Pise, Ambassador designate of the Republic of India to the Sultanate of Oman.

Sayyid Badr welcomed the Ambassador and wished him success in his new role, expressing his hope for continued progress and prosperity in the friendly relations between the two countries.

The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Al Maskari, Head of the Ministry’s Department for the GCC and Region; Najib Al Balushi, Head of the Protocol Department; and officials from both countries.

In a post on social media platform X Sayyid Badr said: ”Met India’s new Ambassador Prashant Pise to welcome him and receive copies of his credentials. Wished him success in building on the already strong friendship and partnership between Oman and India”.
