Dr Saud bin Hamood bin Ahmed Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture Fisheries and Water Resources, held a meeting with Yuri Gorlov, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, as part of his official visit to Belarus. The meeting was attended by Hamood bin Salim bin Abdullah Altowaiya, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation

Sayyid Ammar Abdullah Sultan Albusaidi, head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission to the State of Qatar, met with Ms Mira Baddour, Director of the World Food Programme in Qatar, as part of ongoing cooperation to support global food security and address emergency situations.

The meetings addressed technical areas linked to implementation mechanisms of the agreement.

The meeting discussed a new political initiative aimed at supporting food security and facilitating access to fertilisers.
