Jassem Al Saadi, Head of the Foreign Ministry’s Consular Department, met Fouad Kadmiri, Morocco’s Director of Consular and Social Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Resident Abroad in Rabat. The meeting took place within the framework of coordination and consular cooperation between Oman and Morocco.
Nasra Salim Mohamed Alhashmi, Oman’s Ambassador to Kenya, received a delegation from the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during their visit to the Republic of Kenya. The delegation was led by Zaher bin Mohammed Al Kaabi, Chairman of the OCCI branch in Al Buraimi Governorate. The meeting discussed trade and investment opportunities between Oman and Kenya.
Colonel Salem Alobaidani, Military Attache at Oman’s Embassy to Jordan, and First Secretary Salem Alwahibi, received the fourth shipment of relief for the Gaza Strip from the Omani Charitable Organisation, in coordination with the relevant authorities in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
A delegation from the Oman’s National Defence College made an educational visit to the United States of America. They visited Oman’s U.S. Embassy, the U.S. Department of Defense, defense universities, think tanks and military manufacturing companies where many discussions took place.
Oman’s Chargé d’affaires in Singapore, Anwar Ahmed Muqaibal, met the Managing Director of Rail Systems Singapore, Ajmer Singh Kairon. They discussed ways to enhance economic relations between Oman and Singapore.
Oman’s Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation, Mahmoud bin Hamad bin Nasser Alhasani, presented his credentials as Non-resident Ambassador to the Principality of Liechtenstein to Hereditary Prince Alois in the capital, Vaduz. The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Head of State, Prince Hans-Adam II.
Oman’s Ambassador to Jordan, Fahad Abdul Rahman Alojaili, accompanied by Colonel Salem Al-Obaidani, the Omani Military Attaché, received the first package of Omani aid for Gaza at Marka Airport. The package was provided by the Oman Charitable Organisation in coordination with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
Kapil Kumria, CEO of the Indian business consultancy company Optimax Aces, met with Ammar Al Kharusi, CEO of Invest Oman. They discussed ways to encourage investment in aviation services and tourism as part of their participation in the Suhar Investment Forum.
Oman’s Ambassador to France, Ahmed Bin Mohamed Bin Nasser Al Araimi, met with Gilbert Salinas, President of the North-South Economic and Cultural Development Agency, and Olivier Gravet, President of LTU Technology. They discussed areas of cooperation in economic, technological and academic fields.
Oman’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Hamood bin Salim bin Abdullah Altowaiya, met with Mikhail Bogdanov, Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Representative of the President of Russia for the Middle East. Relations between Oman and Russia and topics of common interest were reviewed during the meeting.
