The Sultanate of Oman participated in the Fourth Arab Media Conference, hosted in the Iraqi capital Baghdad. Mahmoud bin Muhanna Al Kharousi, Oman’s Chargé d’Affaires in Baghdad, took part in the conference on behalf of Mohammed Albalushi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information. The Conference explored the role of the media in addressing climate change.

Ambassador Sheikh Fahad Alojaili, Oman’s Ambassador to Jordan received at the Mission’s  headquarters, Dr Ayman Khalil, Director of the Arab Institute for Security Studies. The meeting highlighted the Institute’s activities and its role in following up on regional and international issues through dialogues and seminars. It also reviewed the Institute’s regular specialised publications.

Algerian Minister of Energy, Mining and Renewable Energies, Mohamed Arkab, received Omani business leader Sheikh Mohammed Albarwani, Chairman of MB LLC (Mohammed al Barwani LLC).
