Vienna: Oman at GCC meeting with UN Office on Drugs and Crime

Ambassador Yousuf Ahmed Aljabri, Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to international organisations in Vienna, took part in a meeting of the Ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries with Ghada Fatha Waly, Director General and Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

Dr Aawatif Hayar, Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family in the Kingdom of Morocco, received in her office, Khalid Bin Salim Bamakhalif, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Morocco. In celebration of Omani Women’s Day, the Sultan Qaboos Cultural Centre in Washington, D.C. hosted researcher and author Linda Pappas Funsch, a specialist in Omani and Middle Eastern history, to deliver a lecture titled “Women in Oman: Partners in Development”.
