His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received at Al Hosn Palace in Salalah this morning the credentials of a number of Ambassadors of friendly countries to the Sultanate of Oman. They are:

Maulidah Bwanakheir Hassan, Ambassador of the United Republic of Tanzania to Oman.

Dr Zubaydzoda Zubaydullo Najot, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Oman.

Prashant Pise, Ambassador of the Republic of India to Oman.

Lee Jung Il, Ambassador the Republic of Korea to Oman.

Ahmad Kamrizamil bin Mohd Riza, Ambassador of Malaysia to Oman.

Gregorio Bernasconi, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Oman.

João Batista do Nascimento Magalhães, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Oman.

Monika Iwersen, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Oman.

Andi Rahadian, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Oman.

During the meetings, the Ambassadors conveyed to His Majesty the greetings of their leaders and their sincere wishes for His Majesty’s continued success and for Oman and its people to achieve further progress, growth and prosperity under His Majesty’s wise leadership. They also expressed their countries’ aspirations to strengthen diplomatic relations with Oman and broaden their horizons across various fields.

For his part, His Majesty the Sultan welcomed the Ambassadors and expressed his appreciation for the sincere sentiments and good wishes conveyed by their leaders. His Majesty affirmed that Oman’s leadership would provide them with everything necessary to facilitate the performance of their duties and enable them to fulfil their responsibilities in the best possible manner. His Majesty also reiterated Oman’s keenness to continue strengthening relations of cooperation and partnership with their countries across various fields.

The credentials ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Royal Court, Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, the Major General, Commander of the Royal Oman Guard, the Head of Royal Protocol and the military aides to His Majesty.
