Geneva: Oman statement to UN Human Rights Council

Ambassador Jamal Alshanfari, head of the Health Office of the Sultanate of Oman to the World Health Organisation in Geneva, delivered Oman’s statement before a session of the  United Nations Human Rights Council.

The statement reaffirmed that safeguarding human dignity is a firmly established principle of Oman’s national policies.

It also highlighted Oman’s commitment to combating stigma, discrimination and exclusion, while ensuring the right to health for all without distinction, in a manner that promotes health equity and preserves human dignity.
