Minister receives call from his Japanese counterpart

Oman's Foreign Minister receives a telephone call from his Japanese counterpart.

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received a telephone call from Japan’s Foreign Minister, Toshimitsu Motegi.

The call reviewed the friendship and cooperation between Oman and Japan and ways to enhance and expand relations across various fields to serve the shared interests of the two friendly countries.

The two Ministers also discussed the importance of the understanding recently reached between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. They expressed support for all regional and international efforts to ensure the success of the agreement in a way that contributes to reducing tensions and creating conditions that guarantee the security and safety of maritime navigation in the region in accordance with the principles of international law.
