His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq held two phone calls with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

During the two calls, they discussed the developments of the military escalation witnessed in the region following the Israeli-American bombing of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its repercussions on security and stability in the region and the world. The leaders stressed the need for an immediate halt to mutual bombardment and return to the table of dialogue and diplomacy.
