His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik departed the Republic of Angola after concluding a two day state visit.

Before his departure, His Majesty and President João Manuel Lourenço of the Republic of Angola proceeded to the ceremonial platform in the courtyard of the Presidential Palace. The Royal Anthem of Oman and the national anthem of Angola were played.

His Majesty then inspected the guard of honour. The President greeted the official Omani delegation, while His Majesty greeted the Angolan officials who had gathered to bid him farewell.

His Majesty sent a message of thanks and appreciation to the President of Angola. He expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him and his accompanying delegation. He also commended the positive outcomes of the visit, which strengthened the partnership and cooperation between the two countries and opened new prospects across various fields.
