His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik departed the friendly People’s Republic of China after concluding his State visit and headed to the friendly nation of Brunei Darussalam for a three-day State Visit.

His Majesty was seen off by Cai Jun, Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on Middle East Affairs, several Chinese officials, Ambassador Anwar bin Ahmed Muqaibal, Ambassador-designate of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Republic of China and members of the Omani Embassy in Beijing.

On his departure, His Majesty sent a message of thanks to the Chinese President, expressing his profound gratitude and appreciation for the warm welcome and generous hospitality. His Majesty praised the constructive outcomes of the visit, which strengthened bilateral relations and advanced the partnership and cooperation between the two countries towards broader horizons.
