Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received Dr Thomas Oertle, Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation, to bid him farewell on the occasion of the conclusion of his tenure in the Sultanate of Oman.

The Foreign Minister commended the Ambassador’s efforts and his role in strengthening relations between the two friendly countries. He also conveyed his sincere wishes for the Ambassador’s continued success in his future duties.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Najib Albalushi, Head of the Protocol Department; Ambassador Mundher Almandhari, Head of the Europe Department, and officials from both countries.
