The Omani trade delegation visiting Minsk in the Republic of Belarus discussed ways to enhance economic, trade and investment cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus.

They reviewed opportunities to develop partnerships between the private sectors of the two countries to support the growth of relations and serve mutual interests.

The discussions were part of a meeting between Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and head of the delegation, and Maksim Ryzhenkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.

The head of the Omani delegation also met with Mikalai Barysevich, Director General of the National Export Promotion Centre in Belarus.

During the meeting, they reviewed opportunities to enhance cooperation between the business communities of the two friendly countries, as well as a number of initiatives aimed at supporting trade and investment flows and expanding areas of economic partnership.
