Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, met with Carla Haddad Mardini, Director of the Private Fundraising and Partnerships Division at the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

The meeting reviewed cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and UNICEF across a number of fields related to supporting humanitarian and development initiatives with a sustainable impact. It also discussed Oman’s role in supporting multilateral efforts related to sustainable development and humanitarian action.

The meeting was attended by Omar Alkathiri, Permanent Representative of Oman to the United Nations in New York; Sumaira Chowdhury, UNICEF Representative in the Oman, and various officials.
