The session reviewed the deep-rooted relations binding Oman and Kuwait and various aspects of cooperation between the two countries.

The talks to be held between His Majesty Sultan Haitham and the Emir Kuwait will further enhance strong bilateral relations.

The Emir will pay a two-day state visit starting from Tuesday.

Dr. Imad Muhammad Al Ateeqi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil of the State of Kuwait, received Dr Saleh Amer Alkharusi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Kuwait.

Sayyid Badr wished Abdullah Ali Al Yahya success in his duties.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations and topics of common interest.

The Minister said he was keen to develop further cooperation in all fields.
