Kuwait’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Khalifa Abdullah Al Ajeel received Dr Saleh Amer Alkharusi, Oman’s Ambassador to the State of Kuwait. During the meeting they reviewed the excellent relations between the two countries in the economic and commercial fields. The meeting was also attended from Kuwait by Zayed Al Najem, Undersecretary of the Ministry and from the Omani mission

The meetings took place during Sayyid Badr’s participation in the Munich Security Conference.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said led the farewell party at Duqm Port.

The refinery complex is the largest joint investment project between Oman and Kuwait.

The session reviewed the deep-rooted relations binding Oman and Kuwait and various aspects of cooperation between the two countries.

His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah is on a two-day state visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

The talks to be held between His Majesty Sultan Haitham and the Emir Kuwait will further enhance strong bilateral relations.

The Emir will pay a two-day state visit starting from Tuesday.

Dr. Imad Muhammad Al Ateeqi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil of the State of Kuwait, received Dr Saleh Amer Alkharusi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Kuwait.

Sayyid Badr wished Abdullah Ali Al Yahya success in his duties.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations and topics of common interest.

The Minister said he was keen to develop further cooperation in all fields.
