The Oman-Kazakhstan Business Forum was held during His Majesty’s official visit.

The two countries signed five agreements and ten memoranda of understanding.

During the talks His Majesty delivered two speeches.

The visit aims to build new bridges of partnership and investment.

Ambassador Saud Alshaidani, Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission to the United Republic of Tanzania, attended meetings held by Ibtisam Al Farouji, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for Investment Promotion, during her visit to Tanzania. The visit explored ways to strengthen trade and investment cooperation and identify promising opportunities between the two countries.

Oman aims to promote its pharmaceutical and medical products.

Ambassador Talal Alrahbi, Oman’s Ambassador to the United States of America, met Benjamin Schwartz, Managing Director of Partnerships at OpenAI. The meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation and explored promising areas to strengthen collaboration in artificial intelligence and advanced technologies.

The meeting in Muscat focused on strengthening Oman US economic partnerships.

Anwar bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Muqaibal, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Republic of China, met with a delegation from the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) at the Embassy. The meeting discussed ways to strengthen partnership and cooperation, and capitalise on opportunities of mutual interest.  

The meeting discussed enhancing US Omani economic and trade cooperation.

Ambassador Anwar bin Ahmed Muqaibal, Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission to China, met representatives of Sohar International Bank in Hong Kong. The meeting explored opportunities for cooperation, strengthening economic relations and supporting links between institutions and companies from Oman and Asian markets.

Ambassador Nasser Said Almanwari met with Rolando T. Ligon Jr., Undersecretary at the Department of Finance. The meeting discussed matters of mutual interest and ways to strengthen financial and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Ahmed Al Nahdi, Deputy Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission to the People’s Republic of China, visited Scenertech, a Chinese company specialising in the manufacture of glass that provides thermal insulation and protection against ultraviolet radiation using advanced technologies. Chantal Tuyishimire, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Rwanda, received Nasra Salim Mohamed Alhashmi, non-resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Rwanda, at her office. The meeting discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
