The Consulate General of the Sultanate of Oman in Mumbai participated in an event organised by the World Trade Center. The event, which  hosted a delegation from the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn), explored  investment and trade opportunities between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India.

The meeting in Salalah reviewed progress on joint initiatives.

Abdul Ghaffar Albulushi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federative Republic of Brazil, participated in the Brazil-Arab Economic Forum in São Paulo. Oman was represented at the Forum by the CEO of Salalah Free Zone, the Project Director at Oman’s Hydrom and a group of Omani businesspeople.

Mohamed Arkab, Algeria’s Minister of State and Minister of Hydrocarbons, received Saif Nasser Rashid Al Badaai, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria. The meeting discussed partnership and investment opportunities between the two countries in the hydrocarbons and petrochemicals sectors.

The meeting discussed practical initiatives in tourism, investment, trade, healthcare and education.
