Hamad Alhajri, representing the Sultanate of Oman, took part in Jeddah in the senior officials’ preparatory meeting for the 22nd Extraordinary Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The meeting reviewed the situation in the Federal Republic of Somalia and the implications of Israel’s recognition of the so-called Somaliland.
They expressed their heartfelt sentiments to His Majesty, and their prayers for His Majesty to realise further progress.
The meeting touched on a number of regional issues related to security and stability.
The Ministers highlighted the need to shield the region from growing challenges that threaten its security and stability.
The meeting addressed coordination and consultation between the two friendly countries on strategic matters.
The step supports efforts to modernise the tax framework and advance digital transformation.
Dr Hilal Alsanani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Tunisia, attended at the Sports Palace in El Menzah, Tunis, the opening of the 44th Arab Men’s Club Volleyball Championships. Tunisia is hosting the championship from January 8 to 18. The Championship features the participation of Al Seeb Club and Majees Club from Oman.
During the meeting in Ankara the Ministers exchanged views on developments In Gaza Syria and Yemen.
