His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik left the Sultanate of Oman this morning, heading to the friendly Republic of Botswana for a two-day State Visit, at the gracious invitation of President Duma Gideon Boko of the Republic of Botswana.
His Majesty is accompanied by a high-level official delegation comprising: His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Royal Court; Lt General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdul Salam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority; Anwar bin Hilal Al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and Ambassador Ali bin Said Alkathiri, Head of Oman’s Mission to the Republic of South Africa.
