His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik held a meeting with President Paul Kagame of the Republic of Rwanda at Al Maamoura Palace.

During the meeting, His Majesty and the President of Rwanda noted the growing relations between their two countries and expressed their shared aspiration to strengthen them across various economic and investment sectors in a way that serves the interests of both peoples.

The meeting was attended with His Majesty by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Engineer Said bin Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, Anwar bin Hilal Al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and Ambassador Nasra bint Salim Al Hashimiyah, Oman’s Ambassador to the Republic of Kenya and Non resident Ambassador to the Republic of Rwanda.

The meeting was attended with the Rwandan President by Olivier Nduhungirehe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Yusuf Murangwa, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Antoine Marie Kaganjwe, Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Solange Uwituze, Minister of State for Agriculture and Animal Resources, Juliana Muganza, Chief Executive Officer of the Rwanda Development Board, Ambassador Dan Munyuza, Non resident Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to the Sultanate of Oman and a number of officials.
