A telephone conversation took place between Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and Maria Theresa Lazaro, Foreign Secretary of the Republic of the Philippines.

The call focused on the friendship and cooperation between the two countries, with both Ministers expressing their shared commitment to advancing relations and expanding partnership opportunities across various fields in ways that serve their mutual interests.

The two Ministers also discussed preparations for the third Cebu Oman Investment Forum, scheduled to be held in the Philippine capital, Manila, in July, alongside Oman’s participation in the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and related partner meetings.

The Ministers expressed satisfaction with the positive developments in the regional political climate and maritime navigation environment following the recent understanding reached between the United States and Iran.
