Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, headed the Foreign Ministry delegation to the Oslo Forum 2026, hosted by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue.

The Forum was attended by officials and representatives of governments, academic institutions and civil society organisations.

During the Forum, Sheikh Khalia participated  along with with Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik, Norweigan State Secretary, in a dialogue session  on international law and mediation.

On the sidelines of the forum, he also met with representatives of participating countries.

The meetings were attended by Sheikh Humaid Almaani, Head of the Diplomatic Academy, and Maitha Almahrouqi, Oman’s Ambassador to Norway.
