The Foreign Ministry expresses the Sultanate of Oman’s strong condemnation of the criminal and treacherous attacks targeting Mecca, reaffirming its complete rejection of any violation of the sanctity of the holy sites or any threat to the safety of pilgrims.

Oman also expresses its solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the measures it takes to protect its security, stability and sovereignty.

Oman calls on countries in the region to intensify cooperation and stand together to address outstanding bilateral, regional and multilateral issues in a manner that safeguards everyone’s right to security, stability and a safe and dignified life.
