The Sultanate of Oman is participating in WorldFood Moscow 2026, held from September 15 to 18, with 16 Omani companies taking part.
The aim is to expand the presence of Omani products in international markets and create new opportunities for Omani exports in Russia and Central Asian markets.
It is also a part of efforts by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MCIIP), represented by Oman Exports, to enhance the competitiveness of Omani non-oil exports and support national companies in accessing new markets. It also aims to connect Omani businesses with international importers, distributors and buyers and explore commercial opportunities and partnerships that can expand the reach of Omani products and strengthen their global competitiveness.
Omani companies aim to showcase the diversity and quality of national products, explore access to new distribution channels and build commercial relationships with importers, retail chains, restaurants and hotels.
Zakia bint Abdullah Al Amriya, Trade Information Specialist at Oman Exports at the MCIIP, said the participation represents an important opportunity to strengthen the presence of Omani products in promising markets.
She added that it provides national companies with an opportunity to engage directly with international importers, distributors and buyers, explore new export opportunities and build sustainable commercial partnerships.
WorldFood Moscow 2026 is one of the leading international platforms for the food and beverage sector in the Russian Federation.
