President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine received Maitha Almahrouqi, who presented her credentials as the non resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Ukraine during an official ceremony held in the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv.

The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Zelenskyy, along with His Majesty’s wishes for the President’s continued good health and success, for the friendly people of Ukraine to enjoy security, stability and prosperity and for further progress and cooperation in relations between the two countries.

President Zelenskyy asked the Ambassador to convey his greetings to His Majesty, together with his wishes for His Majesty’s continued good health and well being and for the Omani people to enjoy lasting progress and prosperity.

He also expressed his aspiration to strengthen relations to serve the interests of the two countries and to fulfil the aspirations of their friendly peoples.
