His Majesty to pay official visit to France

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will pay an official visit to the French Republic from Sunday.

A statement issued by the Diwan of the Royal Court reads as follows:

“Building upon the bonds of friendship between the Sultanate of Oman and the friendly French Republic, and in response to the gracious invitation extended to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik by President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic, His Majesty the Sultan will go on an official visit to the French Republic from June 28 to 29, 2026.

“His Majesty’s visit to the French Republic comes within the framework of strengthening all that would elevate the existing domains of cooperation between the two countries across various fields and avenues for their development, in a manner that serves their mutual interests and aspirations, both present and future, and in continuation of consultation and coordination between the two leaderships to examine various developments on the regional and international arenas.

“Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan during his visit will be a high-level official delegation comprising: His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Albusaidi, Minister of the Diwan of the Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of the Oman Investment Authority; Anwar bin Hilal Al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; and Ahmed Alaraimi, Ambassador of Oman to the French Republic.

“May Allah the Almighty protect His Majesty the Sultan wherever he may be, grant him good health and well-being, and guide him to all that is good for the beloved nation and the entire world.”
