Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received a phone call from Johann Wadephul, Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Germany.

During the call, the two Ministers reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing the friendly relations and cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and Germany.

They also reviewed regional and international developments, welcoming the signing of the understanding between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Ministers expressed their countries’ support for all efforts aimed at ensuring the successful implementation of the understanding, in a manner that strengthens security and peace in the region and safeguards freedom of navigation and maritime safety through the Strait of Hormuz.
