His Majesty hold cordial meeting with Egyptian President

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Abdul Fattah el Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, held a cordial meeting at Al Barakah Palace.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed regional issues and their political, economic, and security implications. They also exchanged views on ways to reach a final agreement to resolve the American-Iranian crisis through understanding, dialogue, and diplomatic channels.

The meeting was attended from Oman by General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; and Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Ambassador at large at the Foreign Ministry.

The meeting was attended from Egypt by Major Gen Ahmed Ali Mohamed, Chief of the President’s Office; Dr Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates; Counsellor Omar Marwan, Director of the President’s Office; and Yasser Shaaban, Ambassador of Egypt to Oman.

In a post on the social media platform X, Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi said that the talks reflected the strength of Oman–Egypt relations and the mutual trust between the two countries. He added that they reaffirmed a constructive approach based on cooperation and continuous consultation to bring further mutual benefits and support efforts to strengthen security and stability in the region.
