President Abdul Fattah El Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt arrived in Muscat on a private fraternal visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik led the welcoming party for President El Sisi at the Royal Airport.

Alongside His Majesty, the President of Egypt was received by General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Ambassador at large at the Foreign Ministry and members of the Egyptian Embassy in Muscat.

During his visit, President El Sisi is accompanied by Major General Ahmed Ali Mohamed, Chief of the President’s Office; Dr Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates; Counsellor Omar Marwan, Director of the President’s Office; and Yasser Shaaban, Ambassador of Egypt to Oman.
