Political Undersecretary receives Commander of EU Maritime Security Operation

Sheikh Khalifa Al Harthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, met at the Ministry with Rear Admiral Vasileios Gryparis, Commander of the European Union Maritime Security Operation Aspides, and Ms Larina Gustacenco, Deputy Head of the EU Delegation to the Sultanate of Oman.

The meeting discussed ongoing cooperation between Oman and the EU and their shared desire to strengthen relations across various fields, including maritime security.

It also reviewed key developments in the region and efforts to promote security and stability.

The meeting was attended by Thani Almahrouqi, Head of the Continental Shelf and Maritime Affairs Office at the Foreign Ministry, along with a number of officials from both the EU and Oman.
