The executive programme of the memorandum of understanding relating to the agriculture, livestock and fisheries sectors for 2026–2027 was signed between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Government of the State of Qatar. The Foreign Ministers discussed regional developments, including ways to reduce and contain tension.

Khalid Algheilani, Deputy Head of the Sultanate of Oman’s Mission to Qatar, took part in the Forum on the Cultural Dimension of Sports, Tourism and Media. The Forum was held under the theme “A Partnership of Impact and Arab Identity: Qatar as a Model of Leadership.”

The Committee discussed cooperation in sectors such as health, education, labour, housing, transport, and agriculture.

Oman’s participation in this international gathering reflects its commitment to strengthening regional and international peace and security.

Ambassador Sayyid Ammar Albusaidi the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador in Doha, hosted a reception to mark Oman’s National Day. The reception was attended by Ministers, senior officials, Ambassadors, heads of diplomatic missions, representatives of international and regional organisations, business leaders, Qatari media figures, Omani students studying in the State of Qatar and members of the community.

The meeting reviewed cooperation between Oman and Qatar and opportunities for further development.

Ambassador Mohammed Alnahdi, Head of Oman’s Mission to Cyprus, took part in a meeting of the Heads of Missions of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states in the Republic of Cyprus, held at the Embassy of the State of Qatar. The meeting was held to express solidarity and discuss matters of mutual interest.

Sayyid Ammar Abdullah Sultan Albusaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar, received Ali Salehabadi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the State of Qatar. The two Ambassadors discussed key developments in the region and a number of issues of mutual interest.

The Council expressed deep regret and strong condemnation of the Iranian missile strike that targeted a military site in Qatar.

His Majesty expressed Oman’s full solidarity with Qatar.

The meeting reviewed the Iranian missile strike on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, deemed a violation of Qatar’s sovereignty.
