Yacine Walid, Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, received Saif Albadaai, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria. The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Oman and Algeria across various fields.  

His Highness Sayyid Nazar Al Julanda Majid Alsaid, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Italian Republic, took part in the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Global Conference on Sustainable Livestock Transformation. The conference took place in Rome, Italy, September 29 to October 1, 2025.

Royal Decree No. 74/2025 ratifies the agreement between the Government of the Sultanate of Oman and the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations, signed on June 28, 2025 at the FAO headquarters in Rome on establishing a Representation Office. Article (1) ratifies the aforementioned agreement in accordance with the version attached to this decree. Article (2) says

His Highness Sayyid Nazar Al Julanda Majid Alsaid, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Italian Republic, presented his credentials to Dr Qu Dongyu Director General of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), appointing him as Oman’s Permanent Representative of Oman to the FAO.

Oman’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Ahmed Ali Said Alrashidi, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Agriculture and Plant Industries Minister, Mahinda Amaraweera.
