The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Moscow, organised a celebration marking the 40 years of diplomatic ties between Oman and the Russian Federation. Oman’s Ambassador to Moscow, Hamood Altowaiya, attended the ceremony held under the patronage of Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin.
The Royal Geographical Society in London hosted a lecture titled “The Scent of Time: Omani Frankincense from Antiquity to Innovation.” The lecture, organised by the British Omani Society and sponsored by Amouage, highlighted the rich heritage and historical significance of Omani frankincense.
Zakariya bin Hamad Alsaadi, Ambassador of Oman to the Republic of Korea, attended the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Medical City for Military and Security Services and Seoul St Mary’s Hospital in Korea. The memorandum was signed on behalf of Oman by Brigadier Dr Saleh bin Saud Al Abri, Director General of the Medical City Hospital.
The Embassy of Oman in the Republic of Türkiye received a delegation of document specialists from several government institutions. The visit aimed to learn about Türkiye’s experience in the field of archiving and records management.
Ambassador Nasser Almanwari, Ambassador of Oman to the Philippines, met with Dante “Klink” Ang, Minister of the Commission on Filipinos Overseas. The meeting discussed matters of mutual interest and ways to strengthen the relations between the two friendly countries.

Ambassador Sayyid Faisal Albusaidi, Head of Oman’s Mission in Bahrain, received Dr Abdullah Khamis Ambusaidi, Vice President of the Oman Olympic Committee, and the accompanying delegation. The delegation is representing those participating in the 3rd Asian Youth Games hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
On behalf of the Arab Group, the Sultanate of Oman affirmed before the UN Security Council the full solidarity of the Arab states with the Syrian Arab Republic and their firm support for its unity, sovereignty, and stability. Ambassador Khalid Bamakhalif, Head of Oman’s Mission in Rabat, met with Hassan Sakhri, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services for the Rabat–Salé–Kénitra region, at the Chamber’s headquarters. The meeting discussed ways to boost trade between the two brotherly countries and explored investment prospects.
