The Muscat Maritime Resilience Forum 2026 opens on October 27, organised by Asyad Group in partnership with the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, and the Oman Investment Authority.
The Forum brings together business leaders, academics and maritime experts from major international companies and institutions to discuss challenges facing global shipping and trade. It aims to strengthen maritime resilience, improve supply chain connectivity and explore practical solutions to maintain the flow of international trade.
Discussions will focus on private sector experiences, operational challenges and cooperation across shipping, ports, logistics, technology and insurance.
The Forum highlights the Sultanate of Oman’s growing role in international discussions on maritime trade and global shipping routes.
Engineer Abdulrahman Al Hatmi, CEO of Asyad Group, said global trade resilience depends on maritime networks remaining connected and adapting to disruptions affecting cargo flows and supply chains.
He said the Forum will bring industry leaders and experts together to share experience, address common challenges and explore practical solutions.
As host, Asyad Group will contribute its commercial and operational expertise, recognising that maritime resilience requires sustained cooperation across the industry.
